The MAXIMUS consortium consists of 8 SME participants and 6 RTD performers involving 4 member states and 2 associated states

The approach of the project is a multidisciplinary one. The Project Consortium will work on the scientific and practical problems considered most important for future sustainable expansion of the industry by the SME proposers, who represent every level of industry This project brings together a balanced and integrated consortium of scientists, with wide project experience, in a number of interrelated disciplines, including growth physiology, quality aspects, fish welfare and stunning/killing methods, quality assurance with respect to monitoring and safeguarding fish welfare, and economic aspects of turbot farming and economic implication of innovative processes developed in the proposed research.
